ASHLEY CARVALHO: Signed with NCAA Div II Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Barry University competes in the Sunshine State Conference, (the most difficult Divv II conference in Florida), and has captured 6 SCC Championships, appeared in over 18 NCAA Championship tours and has won 3 NCAA National Championships to date. Ashley will study Criminolgy at Barry and stated, "I feel very fortunate to not only be able to receive a private university education, but play on a Woman’s Soccer Team that has won National Championships and has participated in so many NCAA Championship games. I love the idea of a smaller private school, so as a student-athlete I don’t get lost in the shuffle of a larger school with thousands of students. After carefully considering several Div I and Div II offers, I chose Barry University to persue my academic and athletic career. I definately made the right choice and I am excited to begin my college career".
ABIGAIL FROOK: Signed with Warner Southern College located in Lake Wales, Florida. Warner Southern competes in the NAIA school conference. Warner Southern is know for their academic excellence and has earned recognition in U.S. News and World Reports as "America’s Best Colleges in the South". Abby Stated, "I chose Warner Southern over several Div I and Div II offers for several reasons. Warner Southern is a small private College with Christian values. This along with it’s location and reputation made it a very easy choice for me. I will receive a private school education while I am able to continue my love of playing the great sport of Women’s Soccer. Signing with Warner Southern was definately the right decision for me and I excited to begin my College career as a student-athlete". Abby plans to study Elementary Education while she plays Defender for the Lady Royals.
CONGRATULATIONS to both Ashley Carvalho and Abby Frook for their many successes in their Academic and Athletic careers so far. Both girls want to thank FLORIDA PREMIER for being a part of that success.
